Events

Residence Tours:

  • Guided tours are available every Thursday (except holidays) from 1:00 – 3:30 PM. throughout the calendar year.
  • There is no charge for admission.
  • An appointment is requested only for groups of 10 or more.
  • To make an appointment for groups of 10 or more please call: 402-471-3466.
  • Volunteer Docent’s from the Community Women’s Club are available to give tours as visitors arrive.
  • Tours last approximately 40 minutes.
  • Visitors may enter at the Pedestrian Gate on the north side of the Residence.

The Residence will be decorated for Christmas beginning Thursday, November 30

There will be a Public Open House following the Capitol Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, December 10th from 3:00 – 5:00 PM.  The Governor and First Lady will greet guests at the Residence.

There will be NO Public Tours from December 21, 2017 through February 15, 2018.  Public Tours will resume on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM.


Governor’s Residence Art Exhibition Program

The Governor’s Residence Art Exhibition Program in conjunction with the Nebraska Arts Council is pleased to announce the 2016 – 2019 listing of featured Nebraska artists. These artists’ works will be featured in the lower level of the Governor’s Residence.
